Important Note: All of our advisers are Independent Financial Advisers (IFA), authorised by the Financial Services Authority to give advice on pensions, investments, retirement planning and protection, both personal and corporate. All team members hold the Financial Planning Certificate. 

Tony Taylor - IFA and Company Secretary, has worked in Financial Services for over 35 years, the first 17 of these spent within the Prudential group of companies as an adviser on pension and investment contracts.  He has been with LFS for 20 years and is authorised to give advice on pension income drawdown as an alternative to annuity purchase. Tony is married with four children, including twins, and enjoys playing golf as well as watching cricket and football.

David Maguire - IFA and Director, has been in financial services for over 25 years. Prior to merging his business with LFS in 2009, he ran his own successful practice for 10 years. David has specialist knowledge of inheritance tax planning, trusts and is authorised by qualification to give advice on long term care planning. He is currently studying to achieve the Diploma in Financial Planning, the advanced industry qualification. David is married with two grown up children and enjoys playing golf, cooking, dancing and gardening.  

 David Smith – IFA has worked in financial services for over thirty years, both within the Prudential Group and for Independent Financial Advisers. David joined LFS in 2010. He is an Associate of the Pensions Management Institute by examination and authorised by qualification to give advice on corporate pension transfers and related matters. David holds the Diploma in Financial Planning. He is also qualified to offer mortgage advice and arrange mortgages. David lives in Beckenham and his passion is playing cricket for Wickham Park CC and keeping fit at the gym. 

Susan Blazer - Financial Services Administrator has worked in Financial Services for 13 years as adminstrator to consultant teams and is a back office systems software specialist. Susan joined LFS in 2009, responsible for new business submission and software system management. Susan is married with twin sons, and is Honorary Treasurer for Tunbridge Wells Sea Cadets. She likes cooking and creating cake designs and watching/going to football matches.

David Simmons - Financial Services Administrator, joined LFS in 2009 to provide administrative and research support to the advisers and administer group schemes. Before that, he worked in the Financial Services sector as a development coach and financial consultant.  David is married and has three children.
